2021 NRCHA Hackamore Classic

Wowza. JPH was on fire today in the NRCHA Open Hackamore Classic today in Ft Worth. It was a clean sweep. Lance and Annie’s Smart Cat owned by Rocking BS Ranch won the Championship Title with a 671 composite. Unbelievable runs. Lance also won the Novice Horse on Lil Starlight Cat owned by Karen Haugland. Congratulations to her. And then our awesome little assistant Cara Hencratt riding Move That Rock for owner Debbie Proctor won the Int. , Ltd, and level 1 Open Hackamore with huge runs. What a successful evening for the JPH team. Congrats to all.

Lance Johnston and Annies Smart Cat (WR This Cats Smart x Shiney Nu Annie x Shining Spark) saved the best for last in the 2021 NRCHA Hackamore Classic, presented by Oswood Stallion Station! The pair was draw 139, the final horse out, and electrified the John Justin Arena with a score of 226, which gave them a composite 671 and put them atop the Open field. The 2016 stallion, bred by Waggonhound Land and Livestock and owned by Rocking BS Ranch, earned $20,500 for the effort. Congratulations!

2021 NRCHA Hackamore Classic – Open Novice Horse Champion
Lance Johnston and “Teddy”, Lil Starlight Cat (High Brow Cat x Lil Foxie Starlight by Greys Starlight). They won 1st place in Open Novice Horse at the NRCHA Hackamore Classic and 4th place in the preliminaries. Lance and Teddy will be advancing to the finals! Another big win for Lance Johnston!
Today, he added the Open Hackamore Championship with Lil Starlight Cat. They marked a winning composite of 442 (218.5 rein/223.5 cow) to earn the victory for owners Kenneth and Karen Haugland.
Last night, he won the NRCHA Hackamore Classic Open Championship with Annies Smart Cat.
